Yeah it's dead easy. You can get more views by adding a lot of friends (in your blog account, Triond account and so on). By adding more friends you will become more popular among the site community, and will get more views.

Comment Stuff

Once again doesn't require much time and effort. Simply view your friends' articles and comment them. Though be honest and do not add those annoying comments that say nothing about the article and are totally useless (like thanks for the share and all that other stuff that almost everybody uses these days). Believe me, you will get more views for this quite fast.

Today I have another tip for you all internet writers. All the writing sites have a variety of categories like science, health articles, recipes etc. After more than 3 months of writing at various websites I noticed that it's very important to find your own niche.


Various categories are of different level of popularity in various pay - to write websites. For instance if you're writing for Triond, you know that health articles are both popular and high payed. The same thing can be said about celebrity articles. It's always a good thing to choose a popular category.

Another important thing when choosing a category is the competition. Almost every article website has a top 10 articles tab, where you can find the best articles of all the categories. I've noticed, that if your article is among any of the top 10 lists your viewership increases dramatically. So it's always a good idea to choose a category, where the competition is not so stiff. That way you will get listed among the top 10 articles easier, and consequently you will get more views.

Finally, it's important to stick to one category, because by sticking to it you'll become a better writer. For instance, I have tried many article subjects, but ended up sticking with science articles, which bring the best cash, also I enjoy science, so it's great.

Another SEO Technique

In order to make money online you have to be quite good at SEO ( search engine optimization). Simply speaking you have to be good at making your content popular in search engines and various websites. SEO is easy to learn but hard to master.

I've been experimenting with various SEO techniques for a couple of months and realized that it's hard but worth of the time and effort. I started with a very simple technique - I put links in my Triond or Bukisa articles or blog articles. The more links your article has the higher it goes in the search engine list. Later I started submiting my content to various search engines, like the popular ones - Google, Bing and Yahoo. This turned out to ok, but I still needed more views, so I used another technique. It was social website. There are many nice social websites like Digg, Twitter and of course Stumble Upon. Last week I found out another technique - pinging.

To ping a content, website or blog simply means submitting your link to a ping website, which sends information to other websites so that your content gets noticed. When you ping your link it automatically get's noticed by various search engines and other relevant websites. It's a really great technique, mostly due to the fact that you don't have to submit your link manually.

To ping your link you need to find a free pinging service, enter the title of your blog, website or content and just wait till it loads. However, some pinging websites require you to put a special link to their website in order to use their services, so beware of such sites. I recommend using these free pinging websites:
1) pingfeed.com
2) autopinger.com
3) freeblogping.com

So far I've noticed a slight increase in page views, but only a little. I'm going to ping all my articles this week and see how will pinging affect the page views. I'll inform you guys how it turned out. I hope this technique will get you more page views. Thanks for reading.

More Article Websites

Recently I've joined another article website Wikinut.com. Basically it's the same thing as Triond and Bukisa. My first impression was kind of bad because of the bad website layout, but as I started writing I found some advantages as well.

Firstly, the website has a very basic layout compared to Triond and Bukisa, however it's simple to use. The first thing that you'll notice after registration is the point system, which is a nice feature. For performing various tasks like writing articles, logging in daily and commenting you get points and badges. It's nothing special but still nice to the eye. As for writing and publishing tools, this website has all you need. You can post pictures, add links and all that basic stuff, however I still prefer the Triond and Bukisa in this category.

The biggest advantage is that you really get many views, even with your first articles. In comparison, in Triond i received my first views for my first article only a couple of weeks after publishing. In Wikinut.com my first article was viewed by 45 people on the first day, so it's really impressive. However, there's a down side to this also.

In Triond you get 0.01 $ for 5 - 10 views, in Bukisa you can get 0.01 $ for 3 views, but in Wikinut.com you get only 0.007$ for 50 views. Having in mind that you can gain views quite easily it's not that bad, but still it's quite unfortunate.

Overall, Wikinut.com is a medium article site. It has a nice community and you can get many views, however you wont get much cash for your articles.

Status Update

So I've been publishing articles online for more than 3 months and all I can say is that it pays off if you have patience. Most of my articles were published on Triond.com and I currently have about 50 articles online. For those of you who are thinking of joining similar sites like Triond, the most important question is how much money can you get. Well I can tell you that after three months of writing, I get about 7 - 12 cents daily. Yeah I know it's not much, but I don't have to do anything and I still get the money, which is quite cool. Also I have only 50 articles, if I had like 300 or more after a year or so, I would receive about 1 dollar daily or even more. However, the main aim of writing to such freelance writing sites for me is not making a lot of money. The main aim for me is to learn writing quality articles, so that I could move on to writing real freelance articles for online magazines or websites.

Income from Triond per 3 months : 6.18 (+ 12.07 from Google Adsense) = 18.25 dollars
Daily income: 0.07 - 0.12 dollars from 50 articles
